There are very few industries quite like the appraisal industry. An appraisal office is predominantly a small business in terms of size and volume that is heavily regulated. We always think of appraisers as individual islands in the valuation space. What if there was a place an appraiser could go to get that precious bit of information that could change their business. Possibly make them more efficient? Allow them to provide their client with a better product? A place where they could learn some of the insider secrets in the industry? But the source would have to be reliable. Someone high up in the industry for regulatory issues and someone that is encountering the same issues on a day-to-day basis in their own business so that the information received is a direct application for the appraiser. That place is Valuation Expo.
We are excited to announce that Valuation Expo 2015 will be held in Baltimore, MD from June 29th through July 1st. Located at the fabulous Baltimore Marriott Waterfront right in the Inner Harbor. We are expecting this to be one of our best Valuation Expo conferences yet. To all those appraisers on the East Coast who have been begging us to have Valuation Expo closer to them, this is your chance.
Don't take our word for it, click here to see what our past attendees had to say. The video shows real attendees at the event candidly explaining what the best parts were for them. Besides the 14 hours of continuing education, we are going to try a new Peer to Peer networking opportunity this year where attendees can sit down with leaders in the industry like lenders, AMC's and regulators. Stay Tuned for our brand new video coming soon!
Baltimore is a great city for several reasons. With Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport, our attendees will have convenient in and out access to the city, as BWI is a hub for several major airlines. Because of Baltimore's close proximity to DC, we are able to get many more regulators and industry decision makers to join us.
Baltimore is going through a huge revival right now. There are musical venues, historic landmarks, wildlife attractions and museums for the family, and plenty of shopping for everyone. Even the Orioles are good again! Stay after the conference and visit the Baltimore Oriole's stadium, Camden Yards, one of the iconic major league ballparks. Those of you that miss the gambling element from Las Vegas can take a five minute taxi ride the to the brand new $442 million dollar casino from Caesars, the Horseshoe Casino! For history buffs, the valiant defense of Fort McHenry inspired Francis Scott Key to write "The Star – Spangled Banner." This is really a can't miss attraction for anyone visiting Baltimore.
Valuation Expo 2015 takes place during the week just prior to the Fourth of July weekend. Plan to stay a few days extra or run over to our nations capital and see how they celebrate our nation's independence day! We can't wait to see you in Baltimore.
